LEMOINE is working with the Louisiana Recovery School District (RSD) and Grace Hebert Curtis Architects to construct a new school building and demolish the existing building for Cohen High School in New Orleans.
The new 3-story, $30 million institution will encompass approximately 105,000 SF and include Core Academic Classrooms, Special Education Classrooms, Media Center Teaching Area, Professional Development Areas, Visual Arts Classrooms, Music / Performing Arts Classrooms (including a stage), and a large Gymnasium for Physical Education.
The project is being delivered under the Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) method, which will decrease the time it takes to design and construct the school ultimately making it operational for students and the community much sooner than the traditional construction process.
