Located in downtown Lafayette, the Rosa Parks Transportation center is a hub for Amtrak and Greyhound travel. The structure houses the region’s Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and serves to control all of Lafayette Consolidated Government’s traffic signals from a centralized location as well as provide more than 50 video cameras for traffic control. In addition, the center also houses a branch of the U.S. Post Office and AOC Community Media, the area’s public access television station.
