Acadiana Center for the Arts (AcA) is located in the heart of Downtown Lafayette and functions as a cultural anchor for Acadiana. AcA serves an eight parish region with community development, education performances, and exhibits. The 20,000 square foot facility includes the 300-seat world class James Devin Moncus Theatre, in addition to workshop and performance spaces for arts and cultural education. The theatre is equipped with recording equipment for audiovisual productions, and the multi-purpose building is outfitted with moveable seating, state of the art sound, lighting and air-conditioning systems and world-class acoustics.
