LEMOINE collaborated with the Louisiana Recovery School District (RSD) and Grace Hebert Curtis Architects to build a new school for Cohen High School in New Orleans. This $30 million, three-story facility spans approximately 105,000 square feet and features various educational and recreational spaces, including core academic classrooms, special education rooms, a media center, professional development areas, visual and performing arts classrooms (with a stage), and a large gymnasium for physical education.
Using the Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) method, LEMOINE streamlined the design and construction process, reducing the overall timeline. This accelerated approach ensured the school was operational much sooner than it would have been with traditional construction methods, benefiting both students and the community.
