Located on Old Gentilly Road in New Orleans, the Delgado Maritime and Industrial Training Center is a new 18,750 SF facility. The long-awaited project was funded by bonds authorized in the 2007 Legislative Session. Delgado has provided training and instruction to licensed mariners and industry personnel in the Maritime, Oil & Gas, and Safety/ Homeland Security fields for over two decades.
Scope of the facility includes one two-story building, steel structure, with masonry, glass, and metal panel exterior. Site work and the construction of a new parking lot were also part of the facility plan.
