The East Jefferson General Hospital (EJGH) Emergency Department Addition and Renovation project in Metairie, LA, was completed in two phases, involving both an addition and a renovation. The two-story, 4,498-square-foot addition created a new entrance, waiting area, and triage space for the upgraded emergency department. Additionally, 17,836 square feet of the existing emergency and human resource departments were renovated to modernize and optimize the facility’s functionality.
This project also included extensive sitework and infrastructure upgrades to support the new entrance and improve overall access to the emergency department, enhancing the hospital’s service capacity and patient experience.
