Located in downtown Lafayette, Louisiana, First Baptist Church is a two-story, 106,000 SF structure encompassing a 2,000 seat sanctuary with audio/visual package, a circular baptistery, choir rehearsal room, library, classrooms, administration areas and a television studio. Specialty scope items included refurbishing the existing 33,000 pound charred steeple and six original columns along with the original front door of the old fire damaged church and incorporating them into the new building.
