The Oceaneering Warehouse and Office Addition project is located on the existing campus of Oceaneering International in Morgan City, Louisiana. Utilizing a design-build delivery method, the project was developed and constructed for the rapidly expanding needs of the client.

In the Summer of 2011, Lemoine engaged in Preconstruction Services for the expansion project. As part of this process, the design-build team worked with the Owner to develop the construction scope and budget, providing estimated cost data and budget tracking. The Operations Team also engaged early in the process to provide feedback on constructability and the project schedule.

The scope of this fast-tracked project consisted of a 14,300 SF manufacturing warehouse space for Oceaneering’s Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) production. In addition, the expansion included 9,880 SF of office and administrative space. Site improvements consisted of a 350 space parking area to accommodate offshore workers, concrete infrastructure for spooling operations, and heavy-duty structural concrete paving. The total project consisted of 24,180 SF of construction. The building structure utilized a pre-engineered metal building with an exterior skin consisting of metal wall panels and brick veneer. Interior finishes varied from exposed elements and stained concrete flooring in the manufacturing facility to carpet, tile, and architectural millwork in the office addition space.

LEMOINE also constructed the Morgan City location of Oceaneering International.
