Ochsner Lafayette General completed the expansion of the Ochsner Lafayette General Orthopedic Center, now the Ochsner Lafayette General Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute. This major renovation and expansion significantly enhanced the center’s orthopedic treatment capabilities. The project included a 17,200 SF upgrade to the existing orthopedic facilities and a 14,000 SF expansion dedicated to physical therapy and sports medicine services, with a total cost of $19 million including equipment. This investment elevated patient care and strengthened service offerings in orthopedics and sports medicine.
